The clear alternative to metal braces for adults, kids and teens.

Invisalign aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.

Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you.

Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you.

There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete.

You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.

How Does Invisalign work?

Throughout the process, good compliance with wearing the aligners as prescribed by your dentist and maintaining regular dental checkups are crucial for successful outcomes.

If you have any concerns or issues during the treatment, we will be here to help!

Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to straighten teeth and correct various dental issues.

The process typically involves several steps:

  1. Consultation: The first step is to schedule a consultation with a licensed Invisalign provider, usually an orthodontist or a dentist. During this appointment, the dentist will assess your teeth and bite, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for you.

  2. Treatment Plan: If Invisalign is deemed suitable for your needs, the dentist will create a personalized treatment plan. They will use 3D imaging technology, such as the iTero scanner, to digitally capture your teeth and create a virtual model of your mouth.

  3. Custom Aligners: Based on the treatment plan, a series of custom-made clear aligners will be created for you. These aligners are made from a BPA-free plastic material that is nearly invisible when worn.

  4. Wearing the Aligners: Once you receive your aligners, you will need to wear them for a specific duration each day, usually around 20 to 22 hours. The aligners are designed to be removable, allowing you to take them out while eating, drinking (except for water), brushing, and flossing.

  5. Gradual Adjustment: Every two weeks or as advised by your dentist, you will progress to the next set of aligners in the series. Each new set will gently and gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions.

  6. Dental Checkups: Periodic checkups with your dentist will be scheduled to monitor your progress and ensure that your treatment is advancing as planned.

  7. Treatment Duration: The total duration of Invisalign treatment varies depending on the complexity of your case and the severity of your dental issues. On average, the treatment may take anywhere from several months to around two years.

  8. Retention Phase: After completing the series of aligners and achieving the desired tooth alignment, you will enter the retention phase. During this phase, you may be given a retainer to wear at night or as directed by your dentist. Retainers help maintain the new alignment and prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original positions.
